In its most simple definition, economics is the study of how society uses its limited resources. Economics is a social science that deals mainly with the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. This one semester course establishes a framework of basic economic theory which can be extended and applied to a student’s future learning. This course blends Macro and Microeconomics focusing on a balance of economic study that spans from a global view, to groups and individuals.
